For a video consultation, you do not need any special software. All that is required is a computer, a tablet, or a smartphone with a video camera, microphone, speakers, and a stable internet connection.
Especially in medical consultations, confidentiality and data protection are of the utmost importance. For our video consultation service, we work with software approved by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung). To use the service, we require a signed data protection agreement from you in advance, as well as a copy of your health insurance card. You can download the agreement here. Please send us the documents signed by email, fax, or post.
For the medical consultation via video chat, we kindly ask you – after successfully submitting the data protection agreement and verification of your health insurance card – to make a binding appointment by phone or email. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred appointment time.
Some time before the scheduled appointment, a link will be sent to you. Please click this link 5–10 minutes before the scheduled appointment and join the call (blue button: "Start Video Consultation"). We strive to be as punctual as possible. Should anything not work, please contact us by phone after a few minutes.
